Warranty Replacement Process
All General Lock Products – Except Door Closers
- Customer provides invoice number for original purchase (if available) and Wesco account number for sales history verification. General Lock customer service email: info@generallock.com
- General Lock customer service verifies that the product is under warranty.
- A warranty replacement is sent out at no charge.
- Defective product returns are not required in most cases.
All General Lock Surface and Concealed Door Closers
- Customer provides invoice number for original purchase (if available) and Wesco account number for sales history verification. General Lock customer service email: info@generallock.com
- Customer emails a picture of the defective closer showing the manufacture date on the closer body.
- General Lock Customer Service verifies that the product is under warranty.
- A warranty replacement is sent out at no charge.
- Defective product returns are not required in most cases.

Certifications
